So I’ve had a few weeks to explore…
When I got to Midwestern Ontario at the beginning of March, I could tell almost immediately that I was in for an adventure. Now that I’ve had some time to settle in, I have to say that this place is INCREDIBLE.
I was born and raised in London, but admittedly had very little experience with anything North of the city. Over the last few weeks, however, I’ve had a chance to drive around to some of the towns that make this area so special and meet the people that keep the spirit of Midwestern Ontario. I’ve made a few observations as well:
You guys love to party in arenas. And it’s THE BEST.
Midwestern Ontario has some of the most incredible food choices I’ve ever seen anywhere.
Getting lost on a trip somewhere could cause you to end up somewhere even cooler.
The live music options in the area are excellent. (Beatlemania Revisited in Blyth and The James Cameron Band at Paddyfest stand out as highlights.)
I’m looking forward to more exciting events as the warmer weather approaches and I look forward to seeing all you fantastic folks out and about. If you spot me in a crowd, don’t hesitate to come up and say hi!
