New York Prison Escape: Joyce Mitchell’s husband breaks his silence

David Sweat and Richard Matt are the two prisoners who escaped from Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora, New York on June 6th, and police are still looking for them. They broke out using tools a prison worker named Joyce Mitchell allegedly gave them.


Joyce’s husband, Lyle, was on “Today” yesterday, and told Matt Lauer he didn’t know his wife was helping David and Richard until after cops came looking for her.  She told him the two prsioners offered to give her pills to knock Lyle out, so they could KILL him and she could escape with them . . . but she refused.


She also said she never got-it-on with David and Richard.
