Wrestler Hulk Hogan fired over race outburst caught on tape

There were rumors about this late Thursday night, and they turned out to be true:  HULK HOGAN was released by the WWE after a tape surfaced of him saying a bunch of racist stuff and using the N-word several times.


Hogan wasn’t an active wrestler, but he made several appearances for the WWE, both on camera and off . . . and he was one of the judges on their reality show “Tough Enough”.


The source of this chaos is the Hulk Hogan sex tape that was released three years ago.


The WWE immediately started scrubbing mentions of Hogan from its website, and issued a statement saying, quote, “WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide.”


Hogan also issued a statement, apologizing and calling what he did unacceptable.
