And the 2015 ‘Song of the Summer’ is….

Now that Labor Day is behind us and the kids are back in school, everyone is releasing their “Songs of the Summer” lists.

Billboard uses an objective approach, which calculates the top songs based on chart performance from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

In the end, their #1 Song of the Summer is”Cheerleader” by OMI.

“See You Again” by Wiz Khalifa is second (. . . and the rest of the Top Five is: “Bad Blood” by Taylor Swift, “Can’t Feel My Face” by The Weeknd, and “Watch Me” by Silento.

Last year, “Fancy” by Iggy Azalea was Billboard’s Song of the Summer.

Meanwhile, “Watch Me” was the most streamed song on YouTube . . .
followed by “Trap Queen” by Fetty Wap, “See You Again”, “Bad Blood”, and “Cheerleader”.

On Spotify, “Lean on” by Major Lazer was the most streamed song . . . with the rest of the Top Five being: “Cheerleader”, “See You Again”, “Can’t Feel My Face”, and “Want to Want Me” by Jason Derulo.
