[Watch] Coldplay, Beyonce, and Bruno Mars halftime performace

CHRIS MARTIN and COLDPLAY delivered what NFL fans crave:  Medium-intensity rock and bright, colorful flowers.  (!!!)

BRUNO MARS and BEYONCÉ added a little life to the proceedings.  Bruno gave us a little bit of “Uptown Funk”, while Beyoncé did her new song “Formation”.  At one point she almost fell on her butt, but she recovered.

When Bruno, Bey, and Chris got together for the finale, it was pretty clear who the odd man out was.  Spoiler Alert:  It was Chris.  (Check out how social media reacted here.)

Meanwhile, Beyoncé’s outfit was an homage to MICHAEL JACKSON.  (Check out video of the whole thing here.  The sound is good, but the picture’s a little blurry.)

She also announced the ‘Formation World Tour’ after the show.
Her song ‘Formation’ (a song celebrating black women and calling out lots of recent brutalities on black people, if you’ve seen the video) was poignant to perform because of it’s message. It’s interesting that such a political song is getting that limelight- especially given all of the hate and racism in the US right now.
It’s so cool she did this during the most masculine event of the year.

Beyoncé surprise music video and new single, “Formation,” included a surprise reference to Red Lobster. Specifically: “When he f— me good, I take him to Red Lobster,” she sang.

A few hours later, the seafood chain tweeted a nod to the shout-out, writing Saturday, “Cheddar Bey Biscuits” has a nice ring to it, don’t you think? #Formation @Beyonce.”

And the Meme’s keep rolling in:
