Michael Phelps races Great White Shark (sort of) on Discovery Channel
DISCOVERY immediately betrayed us by having Michael Phelps race against a computer simulation of a shark – not a real one!
MICHAEL PHELPS didn’t really race a great white shark on the Discovery Channel last night. The whole thing was simulated, using computer-animated sharks.
The biggest scam of 2017! This left many viewers disappointed as they hit Twitter to share their reactions.
Great White Shark top speed: 25 mph
Michael Phelps top speed: 6 mph
Saved you an hour. #SharkWeek

Turns out “Michael Phelps races a shark” was really just “Michael Phelps swims alone and then compares his time to a shark’s time.”
