Kim Kardashian West‘s company is being sued for allegedly ‘stealing’ the technology behind the LuMee phone case. LuMee is a phone case with a built in light for the perfect selfie lighting and Kim K heavily promotes the product on her social pages.

Basically, a guy named Hooshmand Harooni is saying the patent for an “integrated lighting accessory and case for a mobile phone device” belongs to him (though he licensed it to a company called Snaplight). Noe he and Snaplight want compensation for the money they have lost to LuMee over the years. 100 million dollars to be exact.

Kim’s rep, however, is saying that the lawsuit has no merit, Kim has done nothing wrong, and that LuMee is currently asserting patent infringement against Snaplight.
