Mathew Knowles, the father of Beyoncé and Solange, Knowles, was on “The Wendy Williams Show” to promote his new book. He finally responded to Williams’ inquiries about the that infamous 2014  elevator fight between Solange and Jay-Z.

“I have to tell you — I laughed so hard.” he said.

A full four years after the melee, Mathew Knowles, continued and said his piece.

“I have to tell you, I laughed so hard. I laughed so hard because, if you know Solange — that’s Solange,” the 66-year-old quipped.

“You just never know what you’re going to get … firecracker,” he added. “Don’t know where she get that from…Beyonce would be in the corner, quiet,” he went on to share, with a laugh.

TMZ leaked the 58-second clip in May 2014. It showed Solange hitting and kicking Jay-Z while Beyoncé looked on. The three were leaving a party at The Standard hotel in New York after the Met Gala.
