The Reason Ariana Grande & Pete Davidson Skipped The Emmys Will Break Your Heart

Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson were  noticeably absent at this years Emmys. Given that Pete’s show, SNL was nominated (and won) several awards, it made sense that the pair would attend.

In a staement, Ariana’s team said this, “Contrary to reports, Ariana will not be attending the Emmys tonight. Pete has also opted to not attend to be with her in New York. Given the events of the past couple of years, Ariana is going to take some much needed time to heal and mend. She will be staying close to home and using this period to spend time with her loved ones and work on new music without deadline. She thanks her fans for their understanding.”

Monday night’s Emmys came 10 days after Ariana’s ex-boyfriend Mac Miller was found in his home after an apparent overdose. Ariana has kept a low profile since his passing, and her last public appearance was at Aretha Franklin’s funeral earlier this month.

But the couple seems to have found some solace in a Micro pig?

Ariana Grande is a well-known dog lover, but it appears she may have added to her menagerie with a new pet. Judging from screen caps grabbed from Ari’s Instagram Story on Saturday, she and fiancé Pete Davidson may have adopted a pet micro pig. The photos show the tiny pig perched on the singer’s shoulder, sleeping on a towel and generally being adorable.

Davidson got a tattoo of the pig a day later. In a photo posted by tattoo artist Mira Mariah, the ink of the pig’s face can be seen on Davidson’s side. The pig’s name was also revealed as the words Piggy Smallz were written below its face. The comedian also added a tattoo of Winnie the Pooh to his collection.
