Stop by this summer and check out interactive exhibits just waiting for you and your family. Grey Roots is a museum, archives & living history site that works to preserve, interpret, and celebrate the history of Grey County.

Ice Age Mammals is a brand new exhibit that lets you explore the prehistoric world of mammoths, mastodons, and other giant mammals through amazing fossils, skeletons, and hands-on activities.  Discover the skulls and bones of ice age animals, including a life-size cast of a mastodon skeleton. Touch a REAL mammoth tusk. Listen to scientists’ stories of Arctic adventures and discoveries.

Experience the intriguing stories of Grey County’s 19th and 20th century peoples and settlements. Come wander the picturesque 10 acre historical village, chat with the costumed interpreters, and visit the farm animals!
