More clothespin craftiness!
You might ask, what the heck is a trivet?
Whip up a hot pad table protector, a.k.a. a trivet, from wooden clothespins and floral wire.
Simply disassemble 40 clothespins, lay them flat side down, and then the parents need to do some work:
First, drill a hole in each piece about ½ an inch from the tapered end. Then thread the pins onto the wire with the double-notched sides facing the same direction. The pieces will now all be on their sides. Now tighten the wire into a circle and twist the ends to secure. You’ll be done before the tea is ready!
