The keys to conversation…
Lots of wonderful things come in jars…
Things like fruits and veggies, canned with love. Yummy-smelling candles. And even keys.
It’s true. The keys to unlock a conversation. You can learn a little more about each other with something you put in a jar. Here’s how…
Create a Conversation Jar
We all can come up with “how was your day?” as a conversation starter. Or “what did you do at school today?” But the problem is that sometimes the answer to that one is “Nothing.”
So have some family fun and get to know each other a little better with a conversation jar. Bring it out each night at the supper table, or take it on car rides to start the conversation. It can be serious…like, “What makes you sad?” Or self affirming…like, “What do you love about yourself?” Or make-up some silly, “would you rather…” questions.
