In Happy Gilmore 2, Adam Sandler pays subtle tribute to a young actor who died in 2019. Cameron Boyce played Sandler’s son in Grown Ups and its 2013 sequel. In this movie, Happy is seen checking in at a golf course where the people working behind the counter are watching a TV show that features Cameron. Happy Gilmore 2 is on Netflix now.
“Monster” Season 4, which will focus on Lizzie Borden, has found its leading lady. Variety has confirmed that Ella Beatty (daughter of Warren Beatty and Annette Benning) will star as Lizzie in the fourth season of the Netflix anthology series. In addition, Rebecca Hall has been cast as Lizzie’s stepmother, Abby Borden. Season 3, which will star Charlie Hunnam as serial killer Ed Gein, will be released later this year.
In other casting news, Shailene Woodley shocked the Comic-Con crowd over the weekend in a surprise first appearance with the cast of ‘Paradise‘. EW exclusively broke the news of her casting in the thriller, which also stars Sterling K. Brown and James Marsden.
Paramore lead singer Hayley Williams has surprise-released 17 new songs on her website. Fans were given an access code as part of the new drop from Williams’ Good Dye Young hair dye company.
