This commercial was banned in the UK. Why?
The UK Advertising Standards Authority says the ad “relied on the stereotype that men were unable to care for children as well as women and implied that the fathers had failed to look after the children properly because of their gender.”
I’m a Dad, and I’m not offended by this. And, I think you shouldn’t be offended either. Why can’t we just have a sense of humour about things? Can’t we just laugh a little, instead of being so uptight and having an issue with something so silly?
