From the producers of Eurovision and The Voice, a new competition show hits North America next month. American Song Contest will be hosted by Kelly Clarkson and Snoop Dogg. It premieres March 21st on NBC.
It was a big week on The Bachelor! Clayton threw Shanae into Niagara Falls (metaphorically), and Clayton and the women headed to Croatia, where Mara accused Sarah of being too young for marriage.
And think The Bachelorette meets Bridgerton…The Courtship is NBC’s upcoming Regency-era dating show. Eligible suitors will have to receive the seal of approval from the leading lady’s trusted court of advisors: her parents, sister, and best friend. making its society debut March 6th at 8 p.m
This year’s Oscar hosts are in final talks: Amy Schumer, Regina Hall and Wanda Sykes are being asked to host. Apparently, Selena Gomez, Steve Martin and Martin Short were invited to host but they couldn’t make their schedules work.
And for the first time, audiences will vote to determine the best film of 2021, which will be announced at the 2022 Oscars ceremony as a fan-favorite choice.
Amy Poehler’s documentary Lucy and Desi has its first trailer after a debut at Sundance. It takes viewers behind one of television’s greatest love stories and power couples. It’s coming to Amazon Prime March 4th.
And in news that surpises no one, it’s splitsville for Kanye West and Julia Fox. Y’know, when you keep saying you want your ex back…that’ll happen.
