Holy box office, Batman! The Batman opened exclusively in theatres and had the best opening weekend of the year so far, with more than $128 Million. If you’re going to see the movie, it runs 3 hours and no need to stay longer…because there is no post-credits scene. In second place, Tom Holland’s video game adaptation Uncharted took in $10 million.
Drake lost a small fortune after betting $275,000 on Jorge Masvidal, who lost to rival Colby Covington at the UFC’s main event Saturday night. According to TMZ, if he had won he would have pocketed $1 million. But don’t feel too badly for Drake…he made more on the Superbowl than he bet on this fight.
Bridgerton’s new season will once again feature orchestra versions of top hits. This year’s crop will include Madonna‘s “Material Girl,” Rihanna‘s “Diamonds,” Alanis Morissette‘s “You Oughta Know,” Miley Cyrus‘ “Wrecking Ball — and the one that they had the hardest time to license: Harry Styles‘ “Sign of the Times.”
Demi Lovato will no longer star in the upcoming NBC series Hungry, though they and their manager Scooter Braun remain executive producers on the project.
