The trailer for Where The Crawdads Sing came out this week. Reese Witherspoon chose the novel by Delia Owens as a book club pick in 2018 and is now producing the film version, starring Daisy Edgar-Jones. And Taylor Swift’s haunting new song Carolina was written specifically for the movie.
Christina Ricci, who played Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family, will join Netflix’s series about the character, but not as Wednesday Addams. Further details about her character are being kept under wraps.
In other upcoming TV news, Joe Jonas joins Shakira and YouTuber Liza Koshy on the judging panel for the new competition show Dancing with Myself. He replaces Shaquille O’Neal, who had to bow out after delays meant filming would conflict with his schedule. Production is expected to begin next week.
Fans of the popular video game franchise Halo, will be happy to know it’s now a series. It’s on Paramount+ today.
And the official first look at Stranger Things season 4 is out…of course, it’s weird and creepy and goes international…plus the kids have quite the 80s hairstyles.
