At the movies this week, in ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 2,’ the manic Dr Robotnik returns to Earth with a new ally. Ben Schwartz, Idris Elba and Jim Carrey make up some of the voice cast… and in ‘Ambulance’, two robbers steal an ambulance after their heist goes bad. Jake Gyllenhall stars in that one.
And coincidence? I think not… Jake Gyllenhall will host Saturday Night Live this weekend and Camila Cabello is the musical guest.
Avril Lavigne is engaged to punk rocker Mod Sun. She said yes in a boat on the Seine under the shadow of the Eiffel Tower — how romantic! — and on the ring were engraved the first words he ever said to her: “Hi, Icon” along with “Mod + Avril”. (And yes, I look at that and think ‘Ibuprofen’)
