Comedian Dave Chappelle was attacked on stage at the “Netflix is a Joke” comedy festival in L.A. last night. Police responded at around 10:45 p.m. and a man who was reportedly armed with a gun and a knife was taken into custody.
A Canadian spinoff of the Eurovision Song Contest is in the works. Eurovision has been held annually since 1956. Fun fact: Celine Dion won the multi-national competition in 1988, while representing Switzerland.
This year’s Daytime Emmy Awards will air on CBS Friday, June 24th from the Pasadena Civic Center and will be available to stream on Paramount+… Nominations will be announced tomorrow.
Drake has scored a multi-faceted deal with Universal Music Group that encompasses recordings, publishing, merchandise and visual media projects, and said to be worth $400 million or more. The Weeknd inked his own similar deal with Universal Music group last week.
