Production for the sixth ‘Scream’ movie will get underway this summer, but Sidney Prescott will not be running from Ghostface this time. Neve Campbell says she will no longer be part of the Scream franchise. According to her statement yesterday, she did not think the compensation offered equated to the value she has brought to the movies, and has decided to move on.
The family of the author whose article inspired the original “Top Gun” filed suit yesterday naming Paramount Pictures for copyright infringement over this year’s “Top Gun” sequel. The complaint says that Paramount failed to re-acquire the rights to said article before releasing “Top Gun: Maverick.” Paramount said in a statement: “These claims are without merit, and we will defend ourselves vigorously.”
After Justin Bieber’s concert at the Barclays Center he and his wife Hailey headed to an exclusive eatery in Greenwich Village but they reportedly didn’t get in. Apparently, they turned up without booking a table. So, just like regular people, they were turned away… and just like the rest of us would have to do, they headed to a different restaurant where they still “had a great time.”
Brett Goldstein who plays Roy Kent on Ted Lasso says they’re writing season 3 as if it will be the last. “It was planned as three.” Let’s hope someone can talk them into more!
