Celebrity Status – Emmy Noms, Gaga Dancers, Depp And Davidson

Emmy nominations came out yesterday and Succession leads the pack with 25. Ted Lasso picked up 20 nods and Squid Game has 14 nominations, including the first non-English language show to be nominated for Outstanding Drama Series. Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls is among the nominees for Outstanding Competition Program along with The Amazing Race and The Voice…and other nominees include Jason Bateman and Laura Linney for Ozark and Julia Garner for both Ozark and Inventing Anna, along with Jason Sudeikis and others from Ted Lasso. The Emmys will be handed out September 12th.

Yellowstone didn’t get any Emmy love but Yellowstone actress Q’orianka Kilcher is making news… and not in a good way.  She has been accused of worker’s compensation fraud after allegedly claiming disability benefits while working on the show

One trial down for Johnny Depp, another one still to come? Apparently not…ahead of the trial, Johnny Depp has settled the lawsuit filed by Greg Brooks, the location manager for City of Lies who claims the actor assaulted him in a drunken rage.

Lady Gaga‘s dancers are reportedly leaving her tour just days before it starts because of her choreographer, “Richy” Jackson. They say the show must go on… we shall see.

Bradley Cooper and former Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin are reportedly dating after being set up by Anna Wintour.
