Celebrity Status – RIP Coolio, Movies, SNL And Hell’s Kitchen

Rapper Coolio, best known for his hit Gangsta’s Paradise, has died at the age of 59. A cause of death was not immediately known, but he died in LA at the home of a friend.
Movies opening in theatres this weekend include the romantic comedy ‘Bros’, with Luke McFarlane and Billy Eichner… and horror movie ‘Smile’ with Sosie Bacon as a doctor who starts experiencing frightening occurrences that she can’t explain.
Hocus Pocus 2 with Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy comes to Disney + today. Rumour has it there could be a third movie sometime too.
Elsewhere, Kevin Bacon has been cast in ‘BEVERLY HILLS COP: AXEL FOLEY’ for Netflix.
And Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s defamation trial is is barely over and it’s set to be sensationalized even further with a new movie. The trailer for ‘Hot Take: The Depp/Heard Trial’ is out now.
On TV, Gordon Ramsay‘s latest project ‘Hell’s Kitchen: Battle of the Ages’ premieres tonight.
