At the movies, Olivia Wilde’s “Don’t Worry Darling,” starring Florence Pugh and her boyfriend Harry Styles is in theatres. Also, the “Avatar” re-release is in theatres today. And direct to video-on-demand, sometimes truth is stranger than fiction, and Josh Duhamel’s new movie ‘Bandit’ is one of those stories. He plays legendary bank robber Gilbert Galvin, and he will be ON-Air with Ryan Seacrest tonight right here on The One.
On Netflix, a young black jazz singer leaves his rural town in search of fame. Tyler Perry stars in “A Jazz Man’s Blues,” set in the South… post-World War II. And in “Lou” a storm rages and a child is kidnapped. Journee Smollett and Alison Janney star. Both movies come to Netflix today.
Johnny Depp has found love again with Joelle Rich, an attorney for the London-based law firm that defended him in his U.K. libel case. She wasn’t part of his legal team in the court room and one source said, “There was no professional obligation for her being there. It was personal.” She is married but separated.
And ’tis almost the season! 40 new holiday flicks will premiere on Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries starting Oct. 21.
Survivor 43 premiered as a two-hour supersized episode this week…lots of twists and turns expected this season.
…and The Simpsons season premiere is this Sunday. Season 712..?? Not sure. 😉
