The Toronto International Film Festival got underway yesterday and this year will see 200 films in contention. Among them are Jennifer Lawrence’s ‘Causeway’, ‘Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery’, ‘My Policeman’ starring Harry Styles and Emma Corrin and ‘Black Ice’, produced by LeBron James, Drake, and Maverick Carter, charting the history of anti-Black racism in hockey. ‘In Conversation…with Taylor Swift’ takes place tonight after a screening of her short film.
Actress Selma Blair, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice, and more will compete for the Mirror Ball trophy on Dancing With the Stars. Tyra Banks and Alfonso Ribeiro will host the show’s first streaming-only installment on Disney+ starting September 19th
NBC’s longest-running series Days of Our Lives is moving from NBC to its Peacock streaming service in the U.S. Here in Canada, the last airing of Days of Our Lives on Global is today. The series will move to W Network weekdays at 1 p.m..
