At the box office, horror film ‘Smile’ was number one in its second weekend, pulling in $17.6 million. ‘Lyle Lyle, Crocodile’ with Shawn Mendes took second place and ‘Amsterdam’, the other newcomer this weekend, managed only third place with just 6.5 million.
Elsewhere in movie news…at the international box office, a romantic comedy that reunites Julia Roberts and George Clooney is charming audiences. It’s already made more than $60 million. ‘Ticket to Paradise’ opens in North America on October 21. And Mila Kunis is getting rave reviews for the new Netflix movie ‘Luckiest Girl Alive’.
