For Friday, October 21st:

Hedley lead singer Jacob Hoggard was sentenced to five years in prison yesterday, with A DNA order, 20 years on the Sex offender registry, a 10 year weapons ban, and no contact with the victim. He has since been released on bail pending an appeal.

At the movies, ‘Ticket to Paradise’ has George Clooney and Julia Roberts playing divorced parents who travel to Bali with sabotage in mind, after learning that their daughter, Lily, is planning to marry a man she just met.

Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson and Martin McDonagh are back with ‘Banshees on Inisherin’, another dark comedy, this time set in a remote island off the coast of Ireland.

‘Till’ is the true story of a mother’s relentless pursuit of justice for her 14 year old son, Emmett Till, who was unjustly and brutally lynched in 1955.

Harry Styles, Rupert Everett and Emma Corrin are among the cast of ‘My Policeman’. It’s not getting great reviews… and ‘Black Adam’ with Dwayne Johnson also opens in theatres today.

New music out today includes Carly Rae Jepsen‘s new album The Loneliest Time, Meaghan Trainor‘s new album ‘Takin’ It Back’ …and Dylan O’Brien, Zoë Kravitz, and more make surprise appearances on Taylor Swift‘s new album, ‘Midnights’. The video for the first single ‘Anti Hero’, just dropped.

Billie Eilish is apparently dating The Neighbourhood singer Jesse Rutherford. Her fans are not happy that she’s 20 and he’s 31, and he’s known her since she was a teen.

It looks like Netflix will charge account holders $3-$4 per month for allowing users from outside their household.

And the trailer for Season 5 of The Crown is out. Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana looks fantastic. It comes to Netflix on November 9th.
