Celebrity Status – EW’s EOY List, The Voice Winner, Survivor Finale, And A New Bond?

The Voice season 22 finale was last night and as always it was really just a big concert. The five finalists performed duets with their coaches, Blake Shelton did a tune with Kane Brown, OneRepublic sang their big Top Gun: Maverick hit “I Ain’t Worried” and former American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert also took the stage. But here’s the big news…..(spoiler alert!)…. the winner of The Voice is country singer Bryce Leatherwood, giving Blake Shelton his ninth coaching victory.
Sadie Sink, who played Max on Stranger Things, was honoured by Taylor Swift as one of EW’s 2022 Entertainers of the Year. Taylor directed Sadie in her All Too Well short film and Sadie also starrred with Brendan Fraser in The Whale this year. Others on the EW Entertainer of the Year list include Harry Styles, Lizzo, Jennifer Coolidge, Bad Bunny and Michelle Yeoh.
ICYMI… Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who has starred in Tenet and Bullet Train, is rumoured to be the next James Bond… he has reportedly filmed a version of the movies’ iconic gunshot opening.
In other headlines, Nicolas Cage used to think he was an alien as a child. He was shocked to find out at a doc’s appointment that he had regular human organs and skeleton.
….and the Survivor season 43 finale is on CBS tonight.
