At the People’s Choice Awards last night Taylor Swift took home three awards, while Selena Gomez and Elizabeth Olsen won two each, and Lizzo‘s “About Damn Time” was named the Song of 2022. She also received the People’s Champion Award. Ryan Reynolds was this year’s recipient of the People’s Icon Award; and Shania Twain accepted the Music Icon Award and performed a medley of her songs. Other winners included Harry Styles, Adam Sandler, Latto and BTS.
Time Magazine has named its Icon of the Year. This year, Michelle Yeoh gets the honour. She’s been acting since the ’80s, but more than that, she’s been doing her own stunts since then too. Now, she is finally becoming a Hollywood mainstay with roles in films like Everything Everywhere All at Once, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Crazy Rich Asians.
