Celebrity Status – M3GAN, Adele, Eminem And Wednesday

At the box office…‘M3GAN’, a murderous AI doll that develops self-awareness and becomes hostile to anyone who comes between her and her human companion, exceeded expectations at the domestic box office with a $30 million debut. It wasn’t enough to oust ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ from the top spot, though…it took in $45 million.
Meanwhile, 50 Cent reveals he and Eminem are developing a TV series based on Eminem’s movie 8 Mile. Things may not play out exactly how they did in the original film… 50 Cent says, “It’s a modern version.”
Child actor Adam Rich, who played Nicholas Bradford on Eight is Enough has died at the age of 54. he was found in his home and his death is not considered suspicious.
Tonight, there’s a three-hour crossover event involving all the NCIS franchises. From DC to LA to Hawaii, stars from each of the shows will appear in the storylines for the others. Sounds like a heck of a commute!
Adele says she’s suffering from chronic back pain and sciatica, which is affecting her ability to move around on stage. Her Las Vegas residency, ‘Weekends with Adele’, continues through March.
And no surprise here: ‘Wednesday’ has been renewed for Season 2 on Netflix.
