Celebrity Status – Survivor, The Idol, Chris Rock And Bond
For Thursday, March 2nd:
The Survivor 44 season premiere was a bit of a rough start. Three different players required medical treatment in the first three days, one of which had to leave the game just hours after it started. But in a first for Survivor, aside from an all-winners rematch season, and in the spirit of the game, Jeff Probst says Bruce Perreault has been invited back to play another time.
Yesterday, just a couple of days ahead of the release of Creed III, director, producer and star Michael B. Jordan got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Chris Rock’s live comedy special ‘Chris Rock: Selective Outrage’ comes to Netflix on Saturday… with insiders saying it will be packed with jibes at Will Smith, nearly a year after the Oscars slap.
‘The Idol’, HBO’s upcoming show from Sam Levinson sounds like a problematic mess. Rolling Stone published a piece Wednesday with 13 members of the cast and crew lambasting Levinson’s creative approach to the series. Stars The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp both seem to be defending him though
Taron Egerton stars in the upcoming Tetris movie which comes to Apple TV+ March 31. When asked about those James Bond rumours, he said he was never part of that conversation. He said, “I think they’ve already got someone, and it’s not me.”
