Celebrity Status – The Voice, Rachel Ray, And The Bachelor Is Hungary For Love
For Tuesday, March 7th:
Season 23 of The Voice kicked off with some great Blind Auditions, and several mentions that this is Blake Shelton’s final season. The final audition of the night belongs to NOIVAS, a passionate soul/pop singer from Hutto, Texas. NOIVAS might look — and sound — familiar to American Idol fans: his real name is Savion Wright, and he was a fan-favorite in both seasons 13 and 14. Oh, and he got a four-chair spin for his audition.
Chaka Khan made amends after her diva move on that podcast about the best singers of all time. She had a go at Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige and Adele among others. Now she has taken to Instagram to apologize, saying ”I took the bait.”
Robert De Niro is coming to TV in a new Netflix series as the lead character in Zero Day, a six-episode conspiracy thriller. Netflix also nabbed Kristen Bell for a new comedy series about an unlikely relationship between an irreverent, agnostic woman and an unconventional rabbi. No title for that one and no release date for either one just yet.
Rachael Ray is saying a final Bon Appetit… her daytime cooking/talk show has been officially canceled and will end with its current 17th season.
The Bachelor recap from last night: everyone is ‘Hungary’ for love. Zach and his potential wives head to Budapest, where the Bachelor picks his final four.
