Jake Gyllenhall stars in Guy Ritchie’s ‘The Covenant’, as a soldier who returns to a warzone to repay a debt to his interpreter… also in theatres, Ray Romano stars in and directs ‘Somewhere in Queens’, about a father who goes to great lengths to secure a basketball scholarship for his son.
And Chris Evans and Ana de Armas star in the Apple TV+ movie Ghosted …at first a rom-com, then with action added to the mix when he discovers she didn’t actually ghost him but is a secret agent.
On the small screen, Keri Russell made her return to TV in the political-thriller ‘The Diplomat’, where she plays U.S. ambassador to the U.K. and it’s getting good reviews… and Rachel Weisz stars as twins in the gender-flipped series adaptation of ‘Dead Ringers’. The series debut comes to Amazon Prime today.
In other headlines, it’s really really really reals! Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello were snapped this week holding hands in Santa Monica. Her new single also seems to be about him.
