Just 17 days after it was released, ‘Barbie’ has surpassed the 1 Billion dollar mark… and Greta Gerwig has made history too, becoming the first woman to reach that milestone as a solo director. It took the number one spot at the box office for a third weekend, with $53 million. Number two went to ‘Meg 2: The Trench’, with a respectable $30 million, and ‘Oppenheimer’ held on for third place.

Channing Tatum has obtained a restraining order against a woman who allegedly broke into his home and refused to leave. The woman was arrested on June 24 after being found inside his home.

Sad news for Sandra Bullock. Her long-time partner Bryan Randall has died at the age of 57 after a three-year battle with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. The two first met back in 2015, when he photographed her son’s birthday. She called him the love of her life.

Harry and Meghan and Archewell Productions have purchased the screen rights to Canadian author Carly Fortune’s romantic novel ‘Meet Me at the Lake’ about a couple in their 30s who go on a life-changing adventure in Toronto.
