Celebrity Status – Cardi B’s Mic Trouble, Ariana’s Cloud Pink, And RIP Pee-wee Herman
For Tuesday, August 1st:
Police have opened a battery investigation into Cardi B after she threw a microphone at a fan who threw a drink on her. The kicker is… she hit the wrong person. The plot thickened after TMZ said that Cardi had asked fans to throw water on her because she was “dying” in the hot temperatures.
Paul Reubens, the actor and comedian who was perhaps best known as 1980s pop culture phenomenon Pee-wee Herman, has died at the age of 70 after a private, six-year battle with cancer. His TV series, “Pee-wee’s Playhouse,” ran for five seasons and earned 22 Emmys, and his 1985 movie ‘Pee-wee’s Big Adventure earned a cult following and $40 million.
Angus Cloud, the actor who starred as “Fez” O’Neill on the HBO series “Euphoria,” has died. He was 25. While he had been quite open about his battle with mental health, last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with the loss, according to a family statement.
Foo Fighters brought out special guest Alanis Morissette for a Sinéad O’Connor tribute at their concert in Japan over the weekend, saying “For a beautiful woman with high intelligence and deep empathy, way ahead of her time, who is no longer with us.”
Ariana Grande announced she has a new fragrance called Cloud Pink, coming August 13th.
