Celebrity Status – DWTS, The Voice, The BeyHive And The Hulk
For Tuesday, September 26th:
Season 24 of The Voice got underway last night without Blake Shelton, but still lots of hijinks. The final audition of the night was 21-year-old Mara Justine who may look familiar to some, because she was previously a contestant on both America’s Got Talent and American Idol. She did get a four-chair turn and it came down to John Legend – who sang a little impromptu duet with her – and Niall Horan, who tried to horn in on the moment. Find out tonight who she chose as the blind auditions continue.
Meanwhile, the latest season of Dancing with the Stars premieres tonight, with the likes of Jamie Lynn Spears, Mira Sorvino, Alison Hannigan, Jason Mraz and The Bachelorette’s Charity Lawson competing for the Mirror Ball Trophy on ABC and Disney+ … and the season finale, part 1 of America’s Got Talent is on NBC.
‘Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me’ is streaming now on Apple TV+. She was initially against it but after it was released Selena says “she felt like a huge weight was lifted.” That said, she also will never watch it again. She’s proud of it but it’s also hard for her to watch.
Just ahead of the Hunger Games prequel ‘The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes’ which comes out Nov. 17th, The Hunger Games will return to theaters for a special two-night engagement in October
ICYMI: A fan thought his dream of finally seeing Beyoncé was crushed when the airline couldn’t accommodate his oversized wheelchair. But the BeyHive came through for Jon Hetherington, sharing his story en masse until Queen Bey herself stepped in and flew him out to the Houston leg of her Renaissance World Tour.
And Hulk Hogan got married over the weekend! He’s 70 and she’s 45 (Not that there’s anything wrong with that…)
