Celebrity Status – Bloom And Perry On Peppa, The Voice, Talk Shows And Divorce

Daytime talk shows are back. On the season 2 premiere of her talk show yesterday, Jennifer Hudson crashed a superfan couple’s wedding in Los Angeles and performed a song for the newlyweds. Late-night talk shows also began their return to the air after the five-month Hollywood writers strike… and actors went back to the table for the first day of talks that could end their strike.
On The Voice last night John Legend landed a musician on his team whom he called “one of the most handsome men I’ve ever seen.” If you watched, then you know the contestant is a bit of a John Legend look-alike.
A biopic series about legendary NFL quarterback Tom Brady is currently in development. Titled ‘The Patriot Way’, the series will be based on the 2018 book ’12: The Inside Story of Tom Brady’s Fight for Redemption’ by sports journalists Casey Sherman and Dave Wedge.
Orlando Bloom will play Mr. Raccoon alongside Katy Perry as Ms. Leopard in a Peppa Pig 20th anniversary special. The Peppa Pig Wedding Party Special will be a three-part event and will debut on Paramount+ and Nickelodeon sometime in the spring.
Joshua Jackson has split from his wife Jodie Turner-Smith. According to TMZ, she filed for divorce last month after nearly four years of marriage. It’s reported there is a prenup in place and they will share custody of their daughter.
