Mornings

For Monday, October 30th:

Friends, fans and many beyond the entertainment world were mourning the sudden passing of Matthew Perry on Saturday. It appears he drowned in the hot tub at his LA home. He was 54. Officials are awaiting the results of toxicology tests. Foul play is not suspected. Sources told TMZ that no illegal drugs were found at the scene. Whatever the case, we hope he is at peace. Thanks for the laughs, Matthew…

It hardly mattered that “Five Nights at Freddy’s” was released simultaneously in theatres and on streaming this weekend. The video game adaptation took in $130 million globally, $78 million of which was in North America. “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” is expected to cross $200 million in global grosses by today, taking in another $14.7 million this past weekend for second place.

In a new episode of Time to Walk on Apple Fitness+, Goldie Hawn says she once saw aliens with ‘triangular-shaped heads’: ”They touched my face. It was the most benevolent, loving feeling.” (Not what I expected to read today, but there you go…)

While the Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas began Oct. 20th, the full event officially kicks off this Wednesday with premieres every Wednesday through Sunday. W Network is where you can find most of these in Canada…and good news! The network is on Free Preview for the month of November.

Less than a week after her first tell-all was released, Britney Spears teased a possible second memoir to come out next year, saying: “Get ready.” Variety reported that sources close to Britney have denied that a second book is on the way.
