For Friday, October 6th:

Jason Derulo has been accused of making “unconscionable sexual advances.” Emaza Gibson, an aspiring musician, is suing him for sexual harassment, breach of contract and illegal retaliatory termination. She alleges that Derulo reached out to her in 2021 with the promise of a record deal but that their relationship soured after she rejected his sexual advances.

Tyler Hubbard, one half of Florida Georgia Line will be doing a mini Canadian tour this month, wrapping up at Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall on the 24th. Next year he will be opening for Kane Brown on his In the Air Tour.

Chris Rock will direct a biopic about Martin Luther King Jr., based on Jonathan Eig’s best-selling biography ‘King: A Life.’ Steven Spielberg will produce… and we’re guessing Will smith will NOT be starring??

In theaters: Loosely based on a true story, ‘The Burial’ is a legal drama starring Jamie Foxx, Tommy Lee Jones, and Jurnee Smollett… and Peter Dinklage, Anne Hathaway, and Marisa Tomei star in ‘She Came to Me.’

On streaming: look for the horror movies ‘Totally Killer’ and ‘Pet Sematary: Bloodlines’
….also Phoebe Dynevor and Alden Ehrenreich star in ‘Fair Play’ on Netflix;
…and on Prime Paul Mescal and Saoirse Ronan star in the sci-fi psychological thriller ‘Foe.’

…and Elle and Dakota Fanning are teaming up with indie studio A24 to adapt Paris Hilton‘s recently published memoir for a TV series.
