Celebrity Status – Pink, Madonna, Serena And Taylor’s Era
For Tuesday, October 17th:
Pink announced yesterday on social media that her Summer Carnival tour dates today and tomorrow in Tacoma Washington have been postponed due to “family medical issues.” There’s no word on what those issues are but we’re hoping all will be well.
Meanwhile, Madonna could be facing a £300,000 fine after she breached an ultra-strict show curfew in London on the second night of her Celebration world tour. She was late starting after a technical issue and then over ran the 10:30 pm curfew, even though some of her hits were cut from the show… and fans weren’t thrilled about any of it.
With final numbers now in, it’s confirmed: Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour movie topped the box office with $128M, shattering the global record for a concert film
On TV, the Law and Order Toronto spinoff has announced its all-Canadian cast, including Kathleen Munroe, who has had parts on several TV series including some of the Law and order franchises, and Karen Robinson who played Ronnie on Schitt’s Creek. Look for the premiere in the spring.
And Serena Ryder is hitting the road for the holidays. She’s bringing her Merry Myths tour to the Wingham Town Hall Theatre December 16th with songs from her album Christmas Kisses. Tickets are on sale now.
