Celebrity Status – Olivia Rodrigo’s New Tune, A Mean Girls Black Friday, And Mariah’s Ready

Hallowe’en is over, Mariah Carey has been thawed out and that means she’s ready for Christmas to begin. She posted a fun video where she appeared to be freed from a block of ice… so yes, that means you’ll soon be hearing her mega-hit ‘All I want for Christmas is You’ before you know it. But not here… not just yet.
And with the arrival of November, here come the Black Friday commercials. A ‘Mean Girls’ reunion ad for Walmart stars Lindsay Lohan, Lacey Chabert, and Amanda Seyfried as their characters – all grown up – with a bunch of other stars doing cameos. It’s probably no coincidence that Tina Fey’s upcoming musical movie adaptation of ‘Mean Girls’ is set to hit theaters in January. (It’s gonna be so fetch!)
In Glamour magazine Brooke Shields talks about having a grand mal seizure in September, after drinking too much water. It caused her to be sodium-deficient and brought on the seizure. She said she woke up in hospital with Bradley Cooper by her side. Someone had tried to call her husband but got an assistant who contacted another assistant who sent Bradley Cooper because he was nearby.
On the small screen, ‘Star Trek: Lower Decks’ has its season finale on Paramount+… the popular war novel ‘All the Light We Cannot See’ comes to life on Netflix as a four-part series… and it’s the season premiere of the Christmas Cookie Challenge on the Food Network.
And elsewhere, Olivia Rodrigo has joined The Hunger Games universe with a new song for the prequel ‘Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes’. Pre-sale tickets were available in NYC starting yesterday.
