SCARLETT JOHANSSON TAKING LEGAL ACTION AGAINST AI APP FOR CLONING HER VOICE _ Scarlett Johansson is suing the developer of the AI image-generating app Lisa AI: 90s Yearbook & Avatar for featuring her face and voice in a 22-second ad without her consent. The ad has since been removed from the internet. This incident follows other instances of celebrities fighting back after their likeness was used without consent, including Tom Hanks and Stephen Fry.
HULU DEVELOPING NEW SERIES IN PRISON BREAK UNIVERSE _ Hulu is working on a new series set in the Prison Break universe. Prison Break originally aired on Fox from 2005 to 2009, followed by a TV movie and a revival in 2017. STEVEN TYLER FACES SEXUAL ASSAULT LAWSUIT _ Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler has been hit with another lawsuit alleging sexual assault. Jeanne Bellino, a former model, filed the suit on Thursday in New York, claiming that Tyler assaulted her when she was 17 in the summer of 1975. Bellino says she met Tyler at a fashion show in Manhattan and spent one day with him, during which he assaulted her twice. She is suing for “gender-motivated violence” and seeking unspecified damages.
… The suit alleges that Tyler assaulted Bellino in a phone booth, where he groped her and pretended to have sex with her. It also claims that Tyler cornered her in a bar at the Warwick Hotel and forcibly kissed her. Bellino’s attorney says that she suffered long-term physical injury and still relies on medication to cope with the trauma. This lawsuit comes almost a year after another woman, Julia Misley, sued Tyler for allegedly assaulting her when she was 16 in 1973.
YELLOWSTONE BACK IN ONE YEAR; TWO MORE SPINOFFS ANNOUNCED _ The second half of the final season of Yellowstone is scheduled to premiere in November 2024. Kevin Costner, Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, Wes Bentley, Luke Grimes and Kelsey Asbille starred in the previous episodes, but Costner’s participation in the show has been uncertain as he pursues outside film projects.
… Paramount+ also announced plans for spinoffs to the hit flagship show called 1944 and 2024. They will join creator Taylor Sheridan’s universe, which also includes the already-aired limited series 1883 and 1923, as well as the upcoming Bass Reeves.
