At the movies, ‘Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé’ topped the box office over the weekend, taking in $21 million, and stomping all over ‘Godzilla Minus One’ which came in third. In second place it was ‘Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes’ with $14.5 million in its third week of release.

Myles Goodwyn, who, along with his band April Wine, earned a place in the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and on Canada’s Walk of Fame, has died. His cause of death and funeral details will not be shared at this time, as his family asks for privacy. He was 75.

Billie Eilish opened up about her cover story for Variety, sharing a great perspective. She confirmed that she recently came out publicly, even though she says, “I just don’t really believe in it. I’m just like, ‘Why can’t we just exist?”

Canada’s Walk of Fame celebrated its 25th anniversary at a star-studded event Saturday. Recipients included Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid, Rick Mercer and Avril Lavigne, as well as the Degrassi franchise. The broadcast of the Walk of Fame celebration will air Dec. 16th on CTV.

ICYMI, Macaulay Culkin received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. His movie mom Catherine O’Hara was on hand to pay tribute… To end his speech Macaulay said the classic line ‘Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals!’
