Beyoncé’s ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ is drawing comparisons to the Franklin theme song. Bruce Cockburn, who wrote and performed it, told PEOPLE, “The rhythmic feel is similar to my theme song for the Franklin TV series, but to my ears that’s where the similarity stops… I can’t claim to have had any part in writing it.” (Although I bet he wishes he did… Texas Hold ‘Em is now number one on both the Billboard Country chart and the Billboard Hot 100.)
Comedian Richard Lewis, known for his stand-up and his time on ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ has died at 76 following a heart attack. He had quit working last year, announcing that he had Parkinson’s.
