Celebrity Status – New Movies, SNL, And Conan Is Hot!

At the movies this weekend, a remake of ‘Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead’ with Simone Joy Jones in the role originally played by Christina Applegate; Nicole Richie plays her boss. And ‘Civil War’ stars Kirstin Dunst, her husband Jesse Plemons and Nick Offerman among others, and is set not in the 1860s but in a dystopian future America.
Similarly, ‘Arcadian’ takes place in the near future on a decimated Earth and stars Nicolas Cage… Also, if you’re up for a scary spider movie, ‘Sting’ is in theaters too. And maybe the golf movie ‘The Long Game’ is what you’re after on this Masters weekend. It stars Dennis Quaid.
Coming to Netflix today it’s an animated reboot of the 70s series ‘Good Times.’ You’ll have to check it out to see if it’s Dy-No-MITE! Also, get the map…there’s a new animated ‘Dora’ series coming to Paramount+ today. And Michael Douglas stars in the historic series “Franklin,” As Benjamin Franklin, premiering today on Apple TV+
And this weekend, Ryan Gosling is hosting Saturday Night Live for the third time, and don’t think for one second there won’t be a skit or a reference to his Barbie song “I’m Just Ken”… the musical guest, however, is Chris Stapleton.
