Zendaya served up an ace at the box office with her latest movie ‘Challengers.‘ The love-triangle tennis flick was partially inspired by real-life tennis couple Roger and Mirka Federer. Most people maybe don’t know she was once a tennis player sidelined by injury. The movie took in $15 million over the weekend, good enough for first place.
Morgan Freeman spoke the words, but pretty much everyone paying tribute to Nicole Kidman agreed: ”She makes movies better.” Kidman was presented the AFI Life Achievement Award by former honoree Meryl Streep, and she thanked every director she has worked with in her 40 year career.
Since she was released from her conservatorship in 2021, Britney Spears has been battling her father, Jamie, over paying court costs. TMZ has reported she was “furious” and was seen cracking the windshield of her SUV with her heels — from the inside — after being ordered to pay her dad $2 million in legal fees.
There’s a trailer out for the documentary ‘Spacey: Unmasked’ about Kevin Spacey‘s alleged sexual misconduct allegations and his subsequent downfall.
In other headlines… Fans of Survivors past will be happy to know host Jeff Probst says season 50 will be all returning players. For now, they need to get through season 46. It’s back on Wednesday.
