Jake Gyllenhall doesn’t always wear glasses in his movies, but he certainly needs them in real life. According to a new profile in The Hollywood Reporter, he is considered legally blind. His vision is 20/1250. Look for him next — glasses and all — in the Apple TV+ series ‘Presumed Innocent,’ a courtroom thriller based on the bestselling novel by Scott Turow.
Last year when Kevin Bacon was on tour with his brother and their band — The Bacon Brothers — he burned the skin off his lip with a boiled egg from one of the not so high end motels they stayed in. Imagine the headline: “Bacon burned by egg!” He told the story on Late Night with Seth Meyers while promoting his role in the new film, Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F… and also look for him in the July 5th horror-thriller ‘MaXXXine.’
The people behind ‘The Last of Us’ are hinting that the series may require a season 4, saying “I don’t see how we could tell the story that remains after season 2… in just one more season.”
It was announced yesterday that Adam Levine will be returning to ‘The Voice’ for season 27, joining the already-announced Michael Buble and Kelsey Ballerini, along with returning coach John Legend.
And Drew Scott of ‘Property Brothers’ and his wife Linda Phan announced yesterday that they welcomed their second child, a daughter named Piper Rae, on May 21st.
