[Trailer]: Gladiator II

Are you ready for the epic return to the gladiatorial arena? Paramount Pictures has just released the first trailer for Gladiator 2, and it looks like Ridley Scott is bringing back all the action and drama that made the original film a hit. This time around, we’ll see Paul Mescal stepping into the role of Lucius, the son of Connie Nielsen’s character from the first film. And joining him on the journey are Pedro Pascal and Denzel Washington.

… Gladiator 2 comes to theatres November 22.

… The 2000 film Gladiator, directed by Ridley Scott, grossed approximately $503.2 million worldwide, making it the second highest-grossing film of the year 2000. The film was widely acclaimed and won five Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Actor for Russell Crowe. It was nominated for twelve Oscars in total.
