Celebrity Status – A Divorce, A Baby, And Tom Cruise Performs At The Olympics?

Cardi B has filed for divorce from her husband, rapper Offset. A representative for Cardi B confirmed the news, saying “This is not based on any one particular incident, it has been a long time coming and is amicable.” On Instagram, Cardi B did not directly comment on the news of her divorce, but said “With every ending comes a new beginning!” as she revealed that she is pregnant with their third child.
In theatres this weekend, Matt Damon and Casey Affleck star in the movie “The Instigators.” It’s a heist movie getting comparisons to Ocean’s 11, but Matt Damon says Danny Ocean would never let these ‘two knuckleheads’ into his crew.
M. Night Shyamalan’s latest movie is called ‘Trap’, Josh Hartnett plays a dad whose father-daughter good time at a concert turns sinister; Sandy Cheeks from SpongeBob SquarePants’ gets her own movie with ‘Saving Bikini Bottom’ and Zack Snyder releases his director’s cuts for the two ‘Rebel Moon’ movies.
Saturday, the ‘Joe Rogan: Burn the Boats’ comedy special comes to Netflix; Sunday on HBO it’s the ‘House of the Dragon’ season 2 finale, online leaks notwithstanding.
And of course, The Summer Games in Paris continue until August 11th… WE have 9 medals now – Yay! (As of August 2nd at 9am) Let’s GOOOOO, Canada!
And rumour has it… at the Paris Summer Games Closing Ceremony we may see Tom Cruise combine a live stunt with a prerecorded segment of him skydiving. Ummmm… what? Is he playing an Olympian in his next movie? Idk
