Celebrity Status – AGT Winner, Friends Game Show, And Carly Rae’s Engaged!

After countless impressive performances and millions of votes, America’s Got Talent viewers named the winner of season 19. Congrats to singer Richard Goodall, a school janitor for 23 years in Indiana, who belted out 80s rock and power ballads to take the title. In fact, it was the kids at school who encouraged him to enter.
A new game show titled “Fast Friends” is set to premiere on Max, honoring the 30th anniversary of “Friends” the TV show. Production will begin next month at the “Friends Experience: The One” in New York where teams will race through recreated sets from the show while trying their hands at trivia, puzzles, and games. The fastest team will be crowned the “Ultimate Friends Fan.”
Selena Gomez is a busy lady, but she found time to head back to Wizards of Waverly Place. She appears in the trailer and the first episode of the upcoming reboot, called Wizards Beyond Waverly Place. Disney Channel will air the first two episodes on October 29th, just in time for Hallowe’en.
Damon Wayans and his son Damon Wayans, Jr. will star in a new sitcom called ‘Poppa’s House.’ The elder Wayans plays Poppa who lives across the street from his son and family. It premieres Oct. 21st on CBS and streams the next day on Paramount+.
In other headlines, Carly Rae Jepsen is engaged to music producer Cole MGN, whom she met while working together on her last album.
