Lady Gaga says her meteoric rise early in her career took an emotional and psychological toll, and she tells Entertainment Weekly that she’s been working it out ever since in the best way she knows how: through music, of course. Her new album Harlequin comes out today. It’s a companion piece to her latest film, “Joker: Folie à Deux” with Joaquin Phoenix.

In theatres this weekend, the animated movie ‘The Wild Robot,’ with voices from Pedro Pascal, Lupita Nyong’o and Mark Hamill among others. Shipwrecked on a deserted island, a robot named Roz must learn to adapt to its new surroundings.

And Francis Ford Coppola wrote, directed and produced ‘Megalopolis,’ also in theatres this weekend, about an architect who hopes to build a Utopian city. It stars Adam Driver, Shia Lebeouf, Chloe Fineman and Aubrey Plaza.

The documentary ‘Will & Harper’ comes to Netflix today, and follows the friendship of Will Farrell and his friend Harper…

Speaking of which, Season 50 of Saturday Night Live kicks off this weekend with Jean Smart hosting and Jelly Roll as the musical guest.

And the new movie ‘Wolfs’ comes to Apple TV+ today and stars George Clooney and Brad Pitt as two ‘fixers’ who are brought in to help clean up a big crime, but the problem is they’re rivals in the same business.

Just in: Actress Dame Maggie Smith has died at the age of 89. From professor McGonagall in the Harry Potter movies to the dowager countess on Downton Abbey, and so many other brilliant roles, she will be missed.
